Blacklisted did it again and pushed the limits of what a genuine hardcore band, after almost breaking up last year the turned the tides on themselves and showed they still had it compared to many unoriginal and cliche' bands writing themselves off as "hardcore bands" in today every changing underground music community. Hearing these guys never surprises me what they can come up with musically and sonic ally for such a straight forward hardcore band. Deathwish Inc. Myspace has a little preview of one of the songs on this much awaited E.P so please do yourself a favor and give it a listen.

I'm sure this upcoming E.P will go down one of my favorite release of 07'. Blacklisted still has the ruff honest powerful sound they had 3 years ago but seem to tweak it with a little bit of soul ala Life of Agony style with the new music they are producing. It still fits the mold of heavy hardcore but breaks away from the pack of so many bands from their passionate music and lyrically that hardcore seems to be lagging. They still heavy a fast American Nightmare influence and a bone crunchy heaviness that still gives me goosebumps every time I see them play live. God knows if a band can give me a few goosebumps up the back of my neck they take the crown in my book, I'm glad my old band Reaction got to share the stage with them so many times.
